Jean Bosco Murekezi, Customer Care Officer in Gicumbi district has urged all the customer care workers to welcome visitors and residents with much care.
This was resolved on December 4th 2012, during the meeting meant to remind all workers in customer care department to deliver efficient services.
During the meeting, new measures of improving customer care towards residents and visitors that come to Gicumbi were devised.
Customer Care Officer in Gicumbi district highlighted the following among what the workers should do to improve customer care services. They include greeting the visitor, ask for what he or she wants with a smile, a good voice, good words and all in first 15 seconds.
The mayor of Gicumbi district, Alexandre Mvuyekure asserted that every department should evaluate its activities and see if customer care services are delivered as required.
He adds that a committee to supervise how visitors and residents are welcomed in this place before the national team visits for evaluation.
The mayor said this basing on how some residents are made to wait for long hours before they are attended to by the concerned workers.
It’s a customer’s right to be served and a workers obligation to attend to the customers and listen to their needs.
If the entire above are observed, customer care will be improved in Gicumbi district.
