Aime Bosenibamwe, the governor of Northern Province urged officers of District Administration Security Support Organ (DASSO) officers to uphold professionalism and conduct themselves in accordance with law.
The call was made on August 21 Addressing the DASSO officers during a district security evaluation meeting.
Bosenibamwe urged the unit to improve service delivery and be accountable for their actions.
“DASSO should serve more professionally to win trust and respect from residents, “You must bear in mind that whatever you do reflects the image of DASSO and therefore being professional is paramount,” he underscored.
In one year of existence, Dasso worked with local authorities to fight drug use though some of them carried out Police work such as using handcuffs to arrest suspects.
