On October 3rd 2012, Joint Action Development Forums (JADF) has accomplished two days training at sector level in Nyamasheke district.
Organized in association with SNV (non-profit International development organization established in Netherlands) and Nyamasheke district, the training was aimed to strengthen development forums.
According to the trainer Sylvestre Musengimana, the training was organized in order to explain to the residents about JADF, how it operates and its members at sector level.
In addition the training was to ensure effective service delivery of Joint Action Development Forums through idea and experience sharing.
Closing the ceremony, JADF president at district level Charles Bahizi denoted that trainings are of great importance for the JADF members in carrying out their duties.
JADF president pointed out that development is still at low pace in sectors and cells, saying nearest development partners should take part in the implementation of development programs.
JADF members in the sectors were asked to work together and in time in order for performance contracts to be executed successfully.
On the other side, the participants after the training committed to put into practice and share the knowledge with other residents.
JADF supports the district development by implementing different programs in different sectors.
