There is no need for local leaders to vow to work for their subjects and giving them good services because that is their first responsibility for every leader, according to Nehemiah Uwimana the mayor of Rwamagana District on 12th.Sept.2012 during the general assembly of people in Kigabiro sector.
He said that the performing contracts of all leaders in all district are supposed to be those for change and new things in the lives of local people but providing good services is a law that has be respected by all leaders.

Local leaders in Kigabiro sector led by their executive secretary Marc Rubeshana vowed to promote development projects and economy in their sector which covers the big part of the Rwamagana town. They vowed to improve social welfare of people, provide quality education to children, encouraging cooperatives and supporting the poor fight poverty.
The mayor asked these local leaders not to include good service delivery among their performing contracts by explaining to them how it is their responsibility but to achieve what will make people live better lives be it residents and those that pass through their district.
