Members of The Joint Action Development Forums (JADF) for Nyamagabe District concluded a three day study tour in Rubavu district on Wednesday the 3rd.April.2013 to learn from JADF Rubavu which has developed in its operations.

Immaculée Mukarwego Umuhoza The coordinator of Nyamagabe JADF as well as the vice mayor of the district for finance and economic development says they learnt a lot from JADF Rubavu ion this study trip.
“They have a strong secretariat of which we will try to introduce in our district, working in small district and reviewing each other was a lesson that we learnt” explains the vice mayor.
JADF Nyamagabe visited many projects in Rubavu and discussed about each and everything especially projects that bring change in people’s social welfare and economic statuses. The 2 JADFs agreed to work together in these spheres.
The Mayor of Nyamagabe district Philbert Mugisha said the trip tour was of much importance as it supports the development programs of the district especially to take as many people out of poverty cycle as possible.
With Nyamagabe district preparing the 5 years development strategies, the mayor says this trip brought much into the strategies that are much desired.
JADF Nyamagabe was presented with the 5 years development strategies and discussed on projects meant to respond to people’s problems and promised to act on these projects.
The partners in development of the district also agreed to work on the exemplary village called JADF IMPARIRWAMIHIGO that will be completed in 2 years.
This study trip is a sign of good service delivery as Jeanne Izabiriza the executive secretary in the Southern Province of Rwanda. This study trip was sponsored by World Vision as well as the southern province of Rwanda and was attended by 40 people.
