Performance contracts cannot be implemented without residents’ participation but residents need good criteria to follow in the process.
This takes place during evaluation events that happen to ensure everything possible is done for performance contracts to be executed 100percent.
The mayor of Gisagara district, Leandre Karekezi asks all local leaders to be responsible and cover his part in the implementation of the performance contracts.
If every leader does his part, residents can also follow the advice and regulations given to them leading to successful execution of the contracts, he adds.
The police ask local leaders to report them about drug users and sellers and other criminals.
Talking on the economy, agricultural advisers and agronomists are urged to remind residents to sow crops on the right time, embrace land consolidation and fight soil erosion since agriculture is the main activity in Gisagara.
Also, leaders are asked to work hard in sensitizing residents on embracing mutual health insurance, which can make them number one in performance contracts execution.
