Kingdom builders foundation, PSF in partnership with Kigali Serena hotel has organized a two day Kigali Leadership Summit which is set to take place in Kigali this September 11-12 with over 400 youth leaders and managers expected to attend.
The purpose of the summit is to equip attendees with the keys to understand and operate in their full potential and experience a life based on a vision of a better future rather than the limitation of what they currently encounter.
“We strongly believe that it is time for Africa [and Africans] to rise and take our place in the world. It is time for the student to become the teacher and the borrower to become the lender. This will take visionary leadership” said Sugira Hategekimana, host of the summit and Jr Trust of ITWLA.
Hategekimana added that Rwanda is an excellent example of what vision can do for an entire nation and this is why the summit will act as a moment to export Rwanda’s knowledge and ingenuity to the rest of Africa.
“We believe everyone was born to lead in a specific area or domain. It is in this context that young Rwandans can expect to be equipped and boosted by fellow young leaders who exemplify what visionary leadership can accomplish in changing the course of nations” he said.
The summit is organized in partnership with Kingdom Builders Foundation, Serena Hotel, Private Sector Federation (PSF) and International Third World Leaders Association (ITWLA)
The summit will host keynote speakers from Rwanda, Canada, Kenya, South Africa, and the USA. Rwanda’s renowned religious leader, Bishop John Rucyahana will be among the guest speakers to share their experience of leadership. The international speakers were mentored by the late Dr.Myles Munroe who was the founder of ITWLA.
Some of the key discussions will also focus on the experience of Rwanda’s extraordinary leadership from the post genocide era, and the success story of Rwanda as an example of good leadership in Africa.
The discussions will be able to inspire young Africans to become better leaders and managers.
Expected participants will include senior executives, managers, business leaders, and experts from local and international non-governmental organizations around the country.
This summit comes at a time when Kigali city is positioning itself as conference, events destination.
