Residents in Gatsibo district commended good governance saying it’s the foundation of social economic development Rwanda has achieved over the years.
Residents revealed this on July 4 during the event to mark 21st liberation day in Gatsibo district after Rwanda patriotic front (RPF) liberated Rwanda from the hands of poor leadership that led to 1994 Tutsi genocide.
Talking to this website, residents said social development taking place across the country is because of good governance, saying there is a great change in different administrative levels.
Calixte Habamenshi, a resident of Remera sector said: “unlike in the previous years, I have achieved a lot including education and entrepreneurship. Iam building a house worth Rwf3 million in addition to taking care of the family.”
Among the achievements brought by good governance include two hospitals, 19 health centres and 12 health posts in different sectors of Gatsibo district.
