Senator Gertrude Kazarwa asked residents of Rurembo village, Cyanya cell, Kigabiro sector in Rwamagana district to maintain security and development that heroes fought to achieve.
Senator Kazarwa revealed this on February, 1 during the event to mark Heroes Day in Rwamagana district.
During the event, Kazarwa urged all residents in their capacities to protect Rwandan heroism.
Senator Kazarwa highlighted that every Rwandan should celebrate what heroes achieved, urging residents to follow to their footsteps of Rwandan heroes and promote patriotism
Different dignitaries attended the event to mark heroes Day
Yvonne Muhongayire, acting mayor of Rwamagana district added that heroism is strived for and it’s every resident’s responsibility, asking them to strive for heroism.
Muhongayire reminded residents to maintain hygiene to prevent diseases that might put their health at risk, stopping them from doing heroic activities.
Rwandan heroes are in three categories; Imanzi, Imena and Ingenzi. Heroes Day was celebrated in every village of Rwamagana district.
