Rwanda Peacekeepers (Rwanbatt1) deployed in UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) organized three weeks of Basic Computer Training Course for local community mainly teachers at New Kapuri Primary School, Northern Bari Payam in Juba.
While closing the course Mary Tomalu representing the Director of Northern Bari Payam said that “the training will contribute significantly in addressing education challenges and enhance the trainees’ capacity to fulfill their task in their respective institutions”
On behalf of twenty two graduates, Ade Emmanuel Moses hailed Rwandan Contingent for the wonderful job that they have done to the community of Kapuri starting from the construction of the school that will improve learning conditions of pupils and now improving the capacity of teachers of Kapuri Primary School by providing the training in Basic Computer skills.
Rwanda Contingent Commander, Col M Nkangura said that the training was an opportunity for teachers to enhance their knowledge and skills. “We hope the package delivered will benefit the teachers as well as the school”
Rwanda peacekeepers constructed Kapuri Primary School. The Peacekeepers constructed 8 classrooms, two school offices and latrines as new facilities to support pupils who were learning in poor conditions.
