During the event, Bumbakare told district authorities that they are privileged because development level is going to improve.

This will be achieved through working closely with the district administration and inviting them to the decision making meetings, he adds.

We shall instill the culture of observing the law; put in action what they pledged to do while swearing in as new leaders and to lead without fear or favor, Bumbakare highlights.

He called them on to unite, advise each other and feel free to share their opinions.

Bumbakare was elected on March 15th 2013 replacing Dr. Jean Baptiste Nduwayezu as the president of Burera district council.

Pierre Celestin Bumbakare is a commissioner in charge of internal taxes at Rwanda Revenue Authority and was a Nemba sector representative in Burera district council.
